Suzanne Joinson’s second novel, The Photographer’s Wife, is published by Bloomsbury UK/US. Her debut, A Lady Cyclist’s Guide to Kashgar was a US bestseller, translated into 16 languages and was long-listed for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2014. She won the New Writing Ventures award for a non-fiction piece, Laila Ahmed and has written short stories and essays for BBC Radio 3 and 4. She writes regularly for a range of publications including The New York Times, Guardian, Independent on Sunday, Vogue, Telegraph and others.
