Reema Fadda was born and raised in London to Palestinian parents. After reading English Literature at the University of Edinburgh she completed a Masters in Comparative Literature at SOAS, specializing in contemporary Palestinian Literature. Her first visit to Palestine was with PalFest 2011 as a researcher and she joined the team in as as the 2012 Gaza festival organizer. Prior to this she worked at the Arts Council of England in the London Literature team. She is a researcher and writer on cultural politics in the Middle East and will pursue her DPhil at the University of Oxford in October 2013.
