Tarik Hamdan, born in 1983, is a Palestinian poet, musician and journalist. He published his first poetry book in 2011, Hayna Kuntu Haywanan Mânâwiyan (“Once I Was a Sperm”). His poems were translated into Korean, Spanish, French and Dutch. Since 2008, Hamdan is the editor in chief of Filistin Ashabab cultural magazine and contributes as an art and literary critic in various media such as Al-Akhbar lebanese newspaper. He now lives in Paris and works as a presenter on France Médias Monde’s, Arabic radio Monte Carlo Doualiya. His last poems collection entitled Rire et gémissement (Laugh and Moan) was published in 2018 in a French-Arabic bilingual version by Plaine Page Editions.
