UPDATE: Due to yesterday’s closure of the Allenby border crossing, the Reverend Munther was not able to leave Palestine in time to make it to his event. He has sent an extended video message and we will hear instead from two other members of his delegation to the UK:
Dalia Qumsieh, a human rights lawyer and the Founder and Director of the Balasan Initiative for Human Rights.
Mays Nassar of Kairos Palestine, an influential Palestinian Christian ecumenical non-violent movement.
They will be in conversation with Zena Agha.
And we will also be hearing from the Gaza Families Reunited Campaign, which is calling on the UK government to institute a family reunification visa for Palestinian Gaza families with members in Britain.
We are deeply disappointed the Reverend won't be able to make it, but we hope you will still join us for a compelling evening on these urgent topics.
If, however, you would like a refund, please email us at Raed@palfest.org and we will organise that.
September 9th at EartH Theatre, Hackney
Presented in partnership with FairSquare and Sabeel Kairos.
No liquids allowed in the venue, please arrive in time to clear security. The event begins at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6 PM.

Join us this Monday night at EartH Theatre in Hackney for an urgent conversation bringing you the latest crucial information from the escalating oppression in the West Bank.
Reverend Munther Isaac is one of the most senior leaders of the Palestinian Christian community and this is a rare opportunity to hear him speak live in London. He will talk about the intensifying colonization of the West Bank, including the recent attempts to evict families from lands around Bethlehem. He will be in conversation with Zena Agha.
We will also hear the latest from the Gaza Families Reunited Campaign - a community campaign for the UK to create an urgent family reunification scheme, similar to the one created for families divided by the war in Ukraine.
Tickets are priced at only £8 to cover costs, but email us at raed@palfest.org if you need a free ticket.
