مديحة طاهر كاتبة وعالمة ومخرجة
Wounds of Waziristan، فيلم وثائقي قصير عن الناجين الباكستانيين من هجمات الطائرات بدون طيار.تعمل للحصول على الدكتوراه من جامعة كولومبيا حول على الحرب المستقلة.  كما عملت مديحة طاهر أيضاً كصحفية مستقلة. ظهرت أعمالها الصحفية عنها في العديد من وسائل الإعلام  بما في ذلك الجزيرة و Vice و Foreign Policy و Caravan و Democracy Now و Costs of Wr و Guernica وPRI و برنامج العالم على بي بي سي وأماكن أخرى. كما أنها إحدى مؤسسي المجلة الالكترونية Tanqeed مع مافيش أحمد وإحدى محرري Dispatches from Pakistan مجلد من المقالات في سلسلة بقيادة فيجاي برشاد. حصلت مديحة طاهر على  درجة الماجستير في دراسات الشرق الأدنى من جامعة نيويورك ومن مدرسة كولومبيا للصحافة. ولكنها إذا كانت تدعي الشهرة فهذا  لجدالها مع النخب الباكستانية ، وعندما يكون ذلك ممكنًا ، مع وكالة الأمن القومي.

Madiha Tahir is a writer, scholar, and the director of Wounds of Waziristan, a short documentary film on Pakistani survivors of drone attacks. She is a doctoral candidate at Columbia University focusing on autonomous warfare and has worked as a freelance journalist. Her reported work has appeared in several media outlets including Al- Jazeera, Vice, Foreign Affairs, Caravan, Democracy Now!, Costs of War, Guernica, PRI and BBC’s

"The World", and elsewhere. She is the co-founder of the e-zine Tanqeed, with Mahvish Ahmad, and the co-editor of Dispatches from Pakistan, a volume of essays in a series on timely issues spearheaded by Vijay Prashad. Tahir holds a masters degree in Near Eastern Studies from NYU and an M.S. from Columbia Journalism School. But mostly, her claim to fame is arguing with Pakistani elites and when possible, the NSA.
